LDTG Welcome Message
Chào mừng đến Liên Đoàn Trường Giang (LDTG)! (Welcome to Liên Đoàn Trường Giang!)
Are you looking for a fun and enriching program for your children to build character, leadership skills, and a love for the outdoors? Liên Đoàn Trường Giang (LDTG) is proud to offer opportunities for both your son and daughter through our partnerships with the Boy Scouts of America, Silicon Valley Monterey Bay Council, and the Girl Scouts of America, Northern California Council!
For your son:
Join the adventure! The Boy Scouts offer exciting activities like camping, hiking, fishing, and so much more.
Develop strong character. Through the Scout Oath and Law, your son will learn valuable life skills like honesty, respect, and responsibility. Scouting's mission is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law:
The Scout Oath:
On my honor, I will do my best
to do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law;
to help other people at all times;
to keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight.
The Scout Law:
A Scout is:
Trustworthy
Loyal
Helpful
Friendly
Courteous
Kind
Obedient
Cheerful
Thrifty
Brave
Clean
Reverent
For your daughter:
Empower her to explore! Girl Scouts provide a supportive environment for girls to explore new interests, build confidence, and make lifelong friends.
Develop valuable skills. Girl Scouts offer programs in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM), entrepreneurship, and community service. The Girl Scouts' mission is to build girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place.
Become a trailblazer! Girl Scouts encourage girls to become leaders in their communities and the world.
The Girl Scout Promise:
Girl Scouts live by the Girl Scout Promise, which they recite at the beginning of meetings and other events.
The promise is:
On my honor, I will try:
To serve God* and my country,
To help people at all times,
And to live by the Girl Scout Law.
Members may substitute the word God in accordance with their own spiritual beliefs.
The Girl Scout Law:
The Girl Scout Law guides Girl Scouts in their everyday lives.
The Girl Scouts Law is:
I will do my best to be
honest and fair,
friendly and helpful,
considerate and caring,
courageous and strong,
and responsible for what I say and do,
and to respect myself and others,
respect authority,
use resources wisely,
make the world a better place,
and be a sister to every Girl Scout.
