It's Your Story–Tell It!
Survey the brownies: What worked well? What might you do differently next time?
Reflections:
What ways did you Connect with Brownies?
Why is it important to engage with younger girls?
How did you encourage Brownies to Take Action?
Program Aide (PA):
This award pin is earned by earning a Leader in Award (LiA) badge, and assisting younger girls by sharing your skills, passion, and experience over the course of six activity sessions.
Volunteer In Training (VIT)
This award is for girls who’d like to mentor Girl Scout Daisy, Brownie, Junior, or Cadette groups outside of the camp experience. If you’ve completed ninth grade, you’re eligible to earn this award. Your VIT project should span a three to six month period.
Create and implement a thoughtful program based on a Journey or badge that lasts over four or more sessions. Be responsible for designing, planning, and evaluating the activities. If you’re passionate about a topic like art or technology, you could design the activities around the area you love or in which you have expertise.
Service to Girl Scouting Bars
This award is earned by girls of the Cadette, Senior and Ambassador levels.
Service to Girl Scouting Bars are earned by volunteering at least 20 hours for the Girl Scouts. You might volunteer your time for a special event for younger girls, be an office assistant for your council or service unit, or help with special projects. You should record all the hours you volunteer to share with your Troop Leader, who can purchase the Service to Girl Scouting Bar once you complete.
